Apple wedges turn tender and golden in butter and sugar, then Granhota’s Apple Balsamic Vinegar, aged five years and naturally syrupy, adds a gentle apple sweetness and balanced acidity just before the vanilla ice cream starts to melt.

- Peel and core 4 apples and cut each one into 8 wedges.
- Cook them with 2 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp sugar over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them, until tender and golden.
- Off the heat, drizzle with 1 tbsp of the apple balsamic and toss to coat.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a few more drops of apple balsamic.
