Winter in a bottle, with a fire glowing at the end. Blizzard Hot Sauce, a winter-inspired recipe made in France by Sauce Martin, combines the deep, jammy sweetness of blueberries and blackberries, which together account for nearly three quarters of the recipe, with the fruity heat of habanero pepper. Its texture is coating, its flavor sweet and tangy, with a warm finish. Serve it with duck breast, game, or roasted pork, or, more surprisingly, with fresh goat’s cheese.
