Early mornings call for something warm and slow, like creamy oats topped with buttery apple and a spoonful of Hédène’s Clover Honey from Anjou, mild and creamy, whose caramel aroma and subtly tart finish round out the bowl.

Serves 2 · 10 min

  1. Bring 1 cup (90 g) of rolled oats and 2 cups (500 ml) of milk to a simmer with a pinch of salt.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often, until creamy.
  3. Meanwhile, dice 1 apple and cook it in a small pan with a knob of butter for 3 minutes.
  4. Spoon the porridge into bowls and top with the apple and 1 tbsp of clover honey per bowl; its caramel notes round out the oats.
