Our Story
Founded in 2002, Clipperton is a family-owned house built on a simple idea: bring the finest French specialty foods to tables in Canada and the United States, straight from the people who make them.
Straight from the producers
We work directly with small artisans and producers across France: a family olive mill, a tea house, a confectioner, a salt marsh. Today, 31 producers fill our shelves, from Dammann Frères teas and Estoublon olive oils to Hédène honeys, Maison Perrotte jams and Les Terres Blanches salts. Each of them has a page on our site telling their story and their methods.
Craftsmanship first
We choose houses whose exceptional craftsmanship embodies the French art of living. Ingredients, allergens and origins are described as the producers themselves provide them, so you know exactly what you are bringing home.
From France to your table
We ship from Canada to customers across Canada and the United States. Shipping is complimentary across Canada on orders over $150, and orders to the United States are delivered duty paid: the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
