Pale pink to carmine red, the berries scattered over dark chocolate could pass for tiny candies: Place des Épices’ organic pink berries from Bahia, sweet, resinous and floral with no heat at all, are truly the candy of spices.

Makes about 20 · 15 min + 1 h chilling

  1. Melt 7 oz (200 g) dark chocolate gently over a water bath.
  2. Spread it about 1/4 inch (5 mm) thick on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Scatter with 1 tbsp lightly crushed pink berries, a handful of pistachios and a pinch of flaky salt.
  4. Chill for 1 hour until set, then break into pieces.
