Shallots, Coteaux du Layon white wine, cider vinegar, a touch of honey, and plenty of time. Stéphan Perrotte, world champion master jam maker, follows traditional techniques to slowly cook Maison Perrotte’s Candied Shallots Chutney in small batches. Sweet, mellow, and subtly tangy, it is a refined savory condiment. Serve it alongside a steak or roast duck, or spread it on a goat’s cheese toast.
