Warm toast, fresh goat cheese and a few thyme leaves are a fine excuse to open Hédène’s Beehive Treasure Honey Box and reach for the linden honey from Lorraine, whose distinctive freshness sits beside its acacia and lavender companions.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and slice a baguette into 12 rounds.
  2. Toast the slices on a baking sheet for 5 minutes, until golden.
  3. Spread each with fresh goat’s cheese (about 5 oz / 150 g in all).
  4. Top with a little linden honey from the box and a few thyme leaves, and serve while the toast is still warm.
