Rooibos de Noël N°250, from Dammann Frères, one of France’s oldest tea houses, founded in 1692, is a naturally caffeine-free festive rooibos blended with real orange peel, ginger, pink peppercorns, and clove, and scented with gingerbread, bitter orange, and cherry. Well rounded, subtly woody, and gently spiced, it is a gourmand winter infusion for long evenings by the fire throughout the holiday season. Serve it with gingerbread or a slice of bûche de Noël.

Recipe idea

Christmas Rooibos Rice Pudding

Serves 4 · 45 min

Bring 3 cups (750 ml) of milk just to a simmer, remove from the heat, add 8 g of Rooibos de Noël in a tea filter and steep, covered, for 6 minutes.
Remove the tea, add 1/2 cup (100 g) of short-grain rice and 3 tbsp of sugar, and simmer gently for 35 minutes, stirring often.
Once the rice is tender and creamy, remove from the heat and let cool slightly.
Serve warm or chilled, topped with a spoonful of cherry jam or candied orange peel.
