Nicolas Alziari’s César Olive Oil is a certified organic, single-variety extra virgin olive oil made exclusively from Cailletier olives, the emblematic olive of the French Riviera, harvested in the Alziari groves in Nice. First cold pressed and holding the PDO Nice designation, it has a softly golden hue and a delicate, refined palate. Available in a 100 ml, 250 ml, or 500 ml tin, it is a distinguished finishing oil for salads, fish, and pasta; pour it over a salade niçoise, as tradition dictates.

Over a salade niçoise or a pan bagnat, as tradition dictates. Drizzled over raw or barigoule artichokes. On grilled fish, a bouillabaisse or a sea bream en papillote. To finish a pistou soup or fresh pasta with basil.

Recipe idea

Pan Bagnat

Serves 4 · 20 min + 1 h resting

Split 4 round rolls, drizzle the insides generously with César olive oil and rub them with garlic.
Fill with sliced tomatoes, radishes and spring onions, hard-boiled eggs, tuna in oil, anchovies, black Niçoise olives and basil.
Drizzle with more oil and close the rolls.
Wrap them tightly and press under a weight for 1 hour before serving.
