Cinnamon, star anise and orange zest steam from each cup of hot apple juice, while two little angels wait on the saucer: Canasuc’s Bon Thé Divine Sugar, handcrafted in France from cane sugar, lets every guest sweeten to taste.

Serves 6 · 20 min

  1. Pour 6 cups (1.5 l) of apple juice into a saucepan with 2 cinnamon sticks, 3 star anise, 4 cloves and a few strips of orange zest.
  2. Simmer gently for 15 minutes, then strain.
  3. Ladle into cups or heatproof glasses.
  4. Set two Bon Thé Divine angel sugars on each saucer so guests can sweeten to taste.
