The Ingredients

Mara des Bois strawberries (62%) • Sugar • Lemon juice • Fruit pectin. Made in a workshop that also handles nuts, milk, eggs and gluten.

On a buttered croissant, brioche or toast. With fromage blanc, Greek yogurt or a fresh ricotta. Spooned over a panna cotta, a pavlova or vanilla ice cream. As a filling for a Victoria sponge or crêpes.

Recipe idea

Mara des Bois Strawberry Milkshake

Serves 2 · 5 min

Put 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream, 3/4 cup (180 ml) cold milk and 3 tbsp of the Mara des Bois strawberry jam in a blender.
Blend until smooth and thick.
Swirl 1 tsp of jam around the inside of 2 tall glasses, then pour in the milkshake.
Top with a fresh strawberry and serve right away with a straw.

The seasons pass, and each leaves its fruit behind for whoever knows how to keep it. Maison Perrotte is a French artisanal jam house founded by Stéphan Perrotte, a world champion master jam maker. Since 2013, the house has made fruit preserves centered on seasonal ingredients, traditional techniques, and authentic flavor. The fruit is carefully selected and cooked in small batches. From this patient work come gourmet jams, spreads, and fruit creations that honor French craftsmanship and the natural taste of the fruit, at breakfast as well as in desserts.
