Saturday morning, and nowhere to be. Week-End à Paris Tea N°501, from Dammann Frères, one of France’s oldest tea houses, founded in 1692, is a subtle, refined oolong, lightly oxidized to keep its natural vegetal freshness and paired with a delicate bouquet of cherry and peach blossom, almond, and rose. Floral, gently fruity, and quietly elegant, it is a weekend blend to savor slowly, presented in a handsome bronze metal canister. Pour it with a cherry clafoutis or almond financiers.
