The trees were planted in 1914 and still bear fruit: fewer cherries, but of exceptional density. Old Yeti Coffee Beans from Terres de Café are a fully traceable organic micro-lot from Dhinsa Soreso’s Konki Yeti farm, at 1,600 meters in Wallaga, Ethiopia, harvested from these century-old Moka trees. Processed by the red honey method and roasted in France, the coffee offers sweetness and complexity in abundance: a nose of undergrowth, cocoa, and berries, then cacao, tonka, dried strawberries, and sweet spices, with a long, lightly winey finish. Savor it black, beside a square of dark chocolate.
