The kitchen smells of toasted nuts, and the honey hardens into a crackling shell as it cools: Hédène’s Maple Honey, gathered from maple blossoms in the Ardennes, adds its caramelized, woody notes to an easy appetizer.
Serves 6 · 20 min
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss 2 cups (280 g) of mixed unsalted nuts with 2 tbsp of Maple Honey, 1 tsp of melted butter and a good pinch of flaky salt.
- Spread on the sheet and roast for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring once, until golden and fragrant.
- Let cool completely so the honey sets, then break apart and serve as an appetizer.
