Nougat Affogato

Serves 2 · 5 min

Chop one 1.8 oz (50 g) soft nougat bar into small pieces.
Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each of two small glasses.
Pour a freshly brewed hot espresso over each scoop.
Scatter the chopped nougat on top and serve immediately, with a spoon.

Founded in 1837 in Montélimar, the birthplace of Nougat de Montélimar, Arnaud Soubeyran is a historic French confectionery house, recognized as one of the oldest nougat makers in France. For nearly two centuries, the house has kept its nougat-making expertise alive through traditional recipes and quality ingredients, honey and almonds first among them. Its nougats are still made by traditional methods, including slow cooking in copper kettles. The range spans soft nougat, hard nougat, gourmet sweets, and confections rooted in French culinary heritage.
