For its Flavored Green Mint Tea N°667, Dammann Frères combines Gunpowder green tea with generous proportions of two mints, spearmint and peppermint leaves, and a natural mint flavor. The delicate spearmint and the subtle freshness of peppermint create a vegetal, powerful, and refreshing infusion with a pleasant bitterness. Available in a 100g canister or in 24 individually enveloped tea bags. Serve it very hot and sweetened, in the traditional way, with honey pastries or gazelle horns.

Recipe idea

Traditional Moroccan Mint Tea

Serves 4 · 10 min

Place 6 g of Flavored Green Mint Tea N°667 (or 3 tea bags) in a teapot, add a splash of hot water, swirl and discard it to rinse the leaves.
Add a large handful of fresh mint sprigs and 3 to 4 tbsp of sugar, then fill with 3 cups (750 ml) of water at 176°F (80°C).
Let steep for 3 minutes, then pour a glass and return it to the teapot two or three times to blend.
Serve from high above small glasses to create a light foam, with honey pastries or dates.
